Overview
MindMaze ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the MindMaze iOS app.
The short version: MindMaze does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. Your gameplay data stays on your device.
Information We Collect
MindMaze collects minimal data necessary to operate the app:
- Gameplay data — level progress, scores, and game history stored locally on your device using iOS system storage.
- Game Center data — if you choose to use Apple Game Center, your scores may be submitted to Apple's leaderboard service. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Advertising identifiers — if you have not purchased "Remove Ads," we use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) in accordance with your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) preferences set on your device.
Analytics
MindMaze uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, privacy-preserving usage analytics. TelemetryDeck helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve it — for example, which game modes are popular or where players encounter difficulty.
TelemetryDeck is designed to be privacy-first: all signals are hashed before transmission, no personally identifiable information is collected, and individual users cannot be identified from the data. For more information, see the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.
Advertising
MindMaze uses Google AdMob to serve ads to users who have not purchased the "Remove Ads" option. AdMob may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to our app or other apps.
Before serving personalized ads, we will request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You may choose to allow or deny tracking at any time in your iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchasing "Remove Ads" disables all advertising and no advertising identifiers will be accessed.
Multiplayer
MindMaze's multiplayer feature uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework to connect nearby devices over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. No multiplayer data is transmitted to our servers — all communication occurs directly between devices on your local network.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location data
- Photos, contacts, or any other device content
- Any data that could be used to identify you personally
Children's Privacy
MindMaze does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Third-Party Services
MindMaze integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — advertising
- Apple Game Center — leaderboards and achievements
- TelemetryDeck — privacy-preserving analytics
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
